Sanrad International Centauri MPF3000
Centauri
0.3T MRI takes advantage of dynamic balancing technology innovated by XinAoMDT
to achieve high image resolution, signal-to-noise ratio and contrast, and fast
acquisition enabling advanced clinical applications in permanent magnetic resolution
imaging systems.
Ergonomic Design
- Comfort: Wide open two-pole structure, soft lighting
and integrated audio system provide patients with comfort.
- Convenient and accurate: Automatic patient handling
system designed for convenient and accurate patient positioning.
- Easy and accurate: Dual graphic prescription windows
for accurate and easy localisation.
- Real time: The only MRI system that has two nine-inch
LCDs mounted on the magnet with on-board controls to monitor system status,
display images and perform real-time on-site scan control.
Dynamic Balancing Technology
Centauri's excellent performance is ensured by dynamic balancing technology
under both static and dynamic imaging conditions.
- Targeting electromagnetic field design integrates
the design of magnet, gradients and radio frequency system into one process
ensuring the best performance.
- The three channels self-shield gradient coil technology
produces minimal eddy current and residual magnetisation in a permanent magnet
system. With the ultra thin six-layer gradient coil design, gradient performance
is optimised with high linearity and fast dynamic response.
- High-order active shimming technology is a unique
feature of Centauri permanent magnet system. The up to third order, 10 channel
shimming coils eliminate field inhomogeneity and provide excellent magnetic
field homogeneity comparable to that of magnetic resonance spectroscopy systems.

Schiller Healthcare India Pvt Ltd
Defigard 5000 Hospital Defibrillator
Schiller
India's hospital defibrillatorDefigard 5000 has been doing extremely well
in the hospital market. Schiller has successfully installed it in many leading
hospitals such as Parsee General Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, GB Pant Hospital,
AIIMS, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and LNJP Hospital. According to Hormazd
Cooper, Vice President, Sales, "The Defigard 5000 is a high-end defibrillator
targeted specially at hospitals. This unit offers the industry's largest colour
screen for optimum viewing of all parameters. Using Schiller's patented multi-pulse
biowave and biphasic technology, guarantees lower tissue damage. The unit also
offers physicians fixed demand and over-ride modes of pacing and uses the same
electrode set which is used for normal defibrillation, thereby ensuring economical
operation."
Features
- Large 10.4" colour TFT screen with manual
and AED modes for adult and paediatric application.
- User friendly operation by audible and visual instructions
and guidance on screen.
- Capability to include monitoring parameters such
as ECG, SPO2 and NIBP.
- Integrated three channel printer with auto and manual
modes.
- Display of AED prompts, measurements and waveforms,
of ECG, SPO2 and NIBP.
- Internal memory for 45 minutes of ECG and 500 events
in AED as well as 24 hour trends (graphical and tabular) for all parameters.
- Integrated three-channel printer.
- Automatic and manual printing for all waveforms,
measurements, events, trends, and alarms.
- Internal defibrillation with internal spoon electrode
(optional).
- Download of AED data via USB port using memory stick
(optional).
- Transmission of 12-channel ECG via GSM or modem
with ethernet connection for software upgrades (optional).

Mega 2000 and Mega Soft
Mega
2000 patient return electrode is very different than the older sticky disposable
return electrode or the silicon reusable return pad. Mega 2000 technology does
not require direct patient contact with the return electrode. It is easy to
use and reusable (18 months warranty), saving the customer both time and money.
Mega 2000 is larger (46 times larger than any other return pad), allowing electro
surgical current to be dispersed over a larger area, minimising heat built-up
and protecting the patient. This unique feature provides a level of safety unsurpassed
by any other return electrode in the market today.
The technology of 'capacitively coupled return electrode' used in Mega 2000
is employed in Mega Soft also. Mega Soft is designed for OR table pressure reduction
made with Akton polymer. It helps in reducing decubitus ulcers formed due to
pressure, shear and friction. Mega 2000 and Mega Soft totally eliminate pad
site burn and alternate site burn due to its large surface area. During procedure,
a draw sheet can be placed over the pad and hence the patient is not in contact
with the pad. It is of great help to theatre staff as Mega can be used with
patients who have frail skin or extensive injuries (such as burns) that would
make the use of adhesive electrodes difficult or impossible. In an OR, where
on an average three-four procedures are done per day, Mega series pad is useful
to bring down the cost of pad (if sticky pads are presently used) by about 70
per cent. The other advantage is the total elimination of sticky pad waste which,
in an OR with three-four procedures per day, would be around 120 kilograms per
theatre per year and this will make a real difference in reducing environmental
waste (one Mega Soft is equal to 1,500 sticky pads). Mega 2000 and Mega Soft
return pads are approved by FDA and are manufactured by Megadyne Medicals (USA).
