Wockhardt Hospitals launches E-one Services

Wockhardt Hospitals Limited, India's super-specialty hospital groups has launched E-one emergency network service in Bangalore. Dinesh Madhavan, Head of Marketing, Wockhardt Hospitals, India said, "E-One is a mobile emergency service— a state-of-the-art ambulance which has sophisticated life-saving equipment, trained paramedics at par with international systems and protocols." In a medical emergency such as a heart attack, a stroke or an accident, when the victim is really battling against time, this ambulance enacts like a mobile ICU.

"Extending same service across our centers all over India and taking care of emergencies enabling through IT for quicker emergency services are some of our future initiatives," adds Madhavan. The Group has invested Rs 25 lakh per ambulance for this service. They are already in the process to provide these services in other cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
