Satyam Partners With RelWare

The alliance will provide IT based solutions to hospitals, physicians and patients

Satyam Computer Services Limited, a global consulting and information technology services provider, and RelWare, a developer of web-based solutions for healthcare, have signed an alliance agreement. As per the agreement, Satyam and RelWare are joining forces to implement, train, customise and provide professional services in support of RelWare's 'OneRecord' solution. The solution provides users with easy access to comprehensive clinical information utilising a single, browser-based and configurable interface. Its architecture establishes real-time interoperability across disparate legacy systems and eliminates fragmentation of patient data while protecting the investment in legacy applications. The alliance will provide solutions to hospitals, physicians and patients right from comprehensive acute-care Electronic Medical Records systems (EMR) to a Personal Health Record (PHR) for individuals and everything in between. The relationship will leverage RelWare's Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and other web-technologies to provide solutions for all healthcare providers. It will also lower costs and save time, thus allowing medical professionals to spend more time providing enhanced patient care rather than managing paperwork. This transformation in how work is performed in healthcare will have real and measurable business and patient health benefits. "We are pleased to join forces with RelWare and help its clients- healthcare organisations— gain optimum value from their software investments," said Prasad Dindigal, Vice President and Global Head of Satyam's Healthcare Practice. The alliance will also help both organisations augment customer experience. Whilst Satyam benefits from access to RelWare's customers and its technology, RelWare will gain from Satyam's exposure to its resources and reach of a global organisation in Satyam. "We are well aware of Satyam's business and technology capabilities, and its worldwide presence. By collaborating with Satyam, we will be able to deliver robust solutions to healthcare organisations around the world and enable rapid and dramatic return on investment," said RelWare- President and CEO, Alicia Brown.
