Trivitron to Launch 'Pride Series'
With a strong mission to attain Rs 1000 crore mark by 2010,
Trivitron Medical Systems, one of the leading players in the Indian medical
technology industry has announced the launch of its new division - Trivitron
Pride Series. Pride Series will have an array of innovative products specifically
designed, developed and manufactured in-house by Trivitron to suit the requirements
of the Indian healthcare industry. The company has set up a sprawling 75,000
sq feet manufacturing facility, near the upcoming Medical Technology Park in
Chennai to facilitate the design, development and production of the pride series
products. This facility would also support the production line of medical consumables
and reagents. Krishnadas, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Pride Series
and his R&D and sales team who have been newly appointed to spearhead this
operation, globally said, "This is a moment of 'Pride' for Trivitron, where
we are moving forward with a clear focus on developing capabilities with internal
resources and deliver our promise of providing quality and affordable healthcare
services to the people. With the launch of Pride series we complete our gamut
of offering in the medical technology space which includes medical devices,
diagnostics equipment and medical consumables, making Trivitron the only company
to offer such a wide range of services to its customers."
Talking about the Pride series he added, "With government and private players
aggressively targeting the tier II and tier III cities, demand for cost effective
MT solutions is bound to grow manifold. Trivitron has deployed Rs 20 crore of
investment in this project and we are expecting to reach a revenue target of
about Rs 100 cr within a year citing the huge opportunity in the market."
The Trivitron Pride series will come with quality certification of CE, FDA enabling
easy exports of these products into the European markets. Cardiac monitors,
LED warmers, incubators, high frequency infant ventilators, OT instruments,
HF X-ray generators, and critical analysers will be the products christened
under the pride series banner.
