Hindujas Plan to Set-up Rs 300 crore Facility in Tamil Nadu

The Hinduja Group of Companies are planning to set-up a Rs 250-300 crore healthcare facility in Tamil Nadu. The Hospital would have a capacity of 200-300 beds. "We are planning to create a hospital in TN which is currently evaluated at a cost of Rs 250- Rs 300 crore similar to that of the company's healthcare facility in Mumbai," said Group Chairman Srichand P Hinduja addressing the diamond jubilee celebrations of the conglomerate's flagship company Ashok Leyland. Revealing details about the project, he added, "The facility would initially have 200-300 beds and we plan to complete the project in two-and-a-half years. We were hunting for locations in Chennai and other parts of TN and we plan to hold discussions with the State Government in this regard."
