Care Group Expands in AP
Care
Hospitals, a unit of Quality Care India Limited, one of the leading healthcare
providers in the country, has come up with a new 85-bed facility at Maharanipeta,
Visakhapatnam.
Dr Krishna Murthy, Regional Director of Care Hospital, Vizag, stated that the
already existing hospital in Vizag would continue to provide its services to
all specialties and the new facility would offer services pertaining only to
trauma, neuro and spinal surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ENT, internal
medicine, critical care and nephrology/ dialysis. Dr PV Ramana, Medical Director
and Consultant Neuro-Surgeon, said, "It is the first hospital to have a
round-the-clock cardiac and neurosurgery support." "We are not only
undergoing capacity expansion, also playing a leading role in establishing India
as the destination for advanced learning in various faculties," he added
The group has six branches in Andhra Pradesh, two in Maharashtra and one each
in Chattisgarh, Orissa and Gujarat. In the near future, the Care Group is planning
to develop a 2,000-bed health city at Nagpur.
