CAP or Controlled Atmosphere Projects offers single window services for all engineering services for hospitals and labs. CAP is the hospital projects division of Chempharm Industries (I) Private Limited, which is a 25-years-old group in turnkey projects i.e. HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, medical gas pipeline, clean rooms, communication and networking systems for OTs and ICUs. In short, all the engineering services for upcoming hospitals.

How We Started

We started in 1985 with manufacturing of clean room equipment, and implemented first clean room Project at Pharma Company in 1990. Thereafter, we started CAP for implementing projects as installation team in 1992. This is how we expanded manufacturing base to start sandwich panels in 1995.

In 2000, we came into software business and became largest Microsoft partner in India and in 2005 we expanded CAP as full fledged turnkey project company. In 2007, we sold out software company and bought shares in Tectura, US. In the same year in 2007 we started another company called ARBR as Infrastructure company for constructions. And also collaborated with MCI -USA and started Fresh freeze India in 2008. In this year itself, we started healthcare business in CAP as separate division.

Product Range

Our offering includes medical gas pipe line systems, modular OT, clean rooms for ICU/CCU/labs, air-conditioning for complete building and critical areas, electricals, control panels and all sorts of fire fighting systems and communication and networking systems. Very few companies in the world are having expertise and manpower to offer all engineering services under one roof and that too with their own team. CAP is one of those. Our past experience of over 20 years in this field and back of our collaborators makes us the right choice.

Set up

CAP has offices all over India with sales and support teams. Our centres are located at Delhi ( HQ ) ,Mumbai and Hyderabad. Our factory is located Kundli, Haryana with over 50,000 square feet of covered area and a warehouse in Hyderabad and Delhi. Total team strength of over 200 resources for designs, installations, maintenance, validations and training.

Source Equipment

We source best of the equipment from all over the world and locally to suit your requirements be it OT light , oxygen, compressed air units, gas outlets, suctions, bed head units, pendants, LAF, control panels, chillers, air handling units, ducting, sprinklers or fire alarm systems. Some of the items are manufactured in-house like wall claddings for modular OT, doors, LAF, filters, fire doors, air-conditioning items, OT furniture, clean room equipment etc. Promoters and the key people are having more than 20 years of experiences in the similar fields and have served to almost all the big names in the industry. We have some very senior surgeons / doctors/ architects / bio-medical engineers and consultants associated with us to ensure the right designs and best suitable for the end users and machines. The company has over 200 employees working in designs / installations / manufacturing and after-sales support. Dedicated teams in different sectors and regions are backbone of successful customer's long list. CAP also brings interested investor for setting up hospitals from India and overseas and help them to give the total solution through our associates and doctors. Brief of our Products / Offerings

Air Conditioning System: Cooling, heating and ventilation is an important part of the hospital. Whether you are in OT or in any lab or doctor and nurses rooms, you need comfort for which HVAC system is important. The system is designed in such a way that we use minimum energy and maximum efficiency. We use best of chillers with appropriate chilled water system to operate with fully automatic control without giving you stress of overlooking at the temperatures / humidity controls. The system is inbuilt with intelligent system to manage itself automatically.

Air Distribution Systems: Ducting with minimum noise level less than 58 db duly insulated with food grade insulations fitted with sensor operated VFD's and VCD's. Ducting used is of highest quality material factory made or site fabricated. Proper designed mixing chambers and fire dampers are incorporated to give you trouble free and noise free operations.

Electrical /control panels and System: Our team has been designing the electrical requirements as per the client's needs for all location in the hospital be it OT/ICU/CCU /labs/wards/offices and general areas.

Medical Gas Pipeline System

• We carry out the complete supply, installation, testing and commissioning of medical gas pipeline systems as per HTM 02-01/ NFPA 99/ EN standards.
• We do the complete installation, testing and validation as per procedures laid down in HTM 02-01 standard.
• We represent leading international manufacturers for their state-of-the-art medical gas equipment.
• We also provide comprehensive maintenance, running and operation of the MGPS, for which we enter into Annual Maintenance contracts with the hospitals.
• We have in-house expertise for providing consultancy for design of the MGPS whenever required.

Modular OT/ ICU/ CCU/ labs/ clean rooms as per standard HTM 2025

Modular Operating Theatre accommodates the most integrated functions and features. Cleanliness and the safety can be maintained to the highest standard in such design. A true modular concept allows you to modify, shift and Maintain without any major wastages and time loss. In addition, this design allows you to carry out extension at any time without any hassles. Our modular design allows you to erect it on the open space without any civil construction and it also allows you to incorporate the electrical fittings, medical gas systems, pendants, lightning and control panels to your satisfaction and ensure that working environment for the doctors and nurses must be considered from the view point of human engineering.

In a high concentrated care section such as ICU and CCU which have a function to treat, care and monitor a grave patient continuously by 24-hour system, it is necessary to establish an environment or space which is possible to cope promptly with a medical treatment requiring a fight for the clock.

We are concentrating our efforts to establish a medical environment with high safety and full function by offering a wall care system integrating the functions necessary for medical treatment, care and monitoring, and in-care port series in which the ceiling space is utilised as well as supplying securely the medical electricity and medical gas.

Our modular OT has some very strong features like it meets HTM norms and the consumables like HEPA are consumed less due to minipleat design and similarly the other items used in the OT like wall panels sealent is antibacterial of highest grade and pendants are imported with excellent moveability. Wall and ceilings are designed to accommodate the electrical and gas pipe line in such a way that they consume less space and easy to maintain. Laminar flow is of highest standard with excellent sealing and laminar flow patterns. Flooring is conductive with epoxy or vinyl. Control panel with maximum features to give full control from one location. OT Doors are sliding hermetically sealed or Stainless steel operated manually or with Sensor (Automation).

ICU/CCU and Labs are made with clean room concept to meet HTM norms where 30-60 changes per hour is maintained to give cleanness class 1,000 or 10,000 depending upon the criticality of the lab and the area. Wall finishes are maintained as per clean room norms with appropriate flooring.
