A multi-specialty hospital with 30 specialities, Fortis Hospital Mohali is a super-specialty in heart with the finest cardiologists and cardiac surgeons of the country on board. It offers the North a tertiary healthcare facility with its state-of-the-art infrastructure, high-end technology and a highly qualified medical team. The only hospital in the country to have acquired the prestigious accreditations of both the Joint Commission International (JCI) and National Accreditation Board of Hospitals (NABH), the central concern of the 215-bed hospital is 'quality patient care' which conforms to global standards. Ashish Bhatia, Regional Director- North, Fortis Hospitals,talks about the growth of hospital with Express Healthcare. Excerpts:

'The Hospital Has Quadrupled its Turnover in the Last 5 Years'
Patel hospital was established in 1974 by Dr BS Chopra and Dr SK Sharma as a 25-bed hospital. To start with, there were three specialities surgery, medicine and gynaecology. Today, the hospital has a bed-strength of 150 beds and is slated to increase to 250 beds over the next three years. Dr SK Sharma and Dr BS Chopra talk to Express Healthcare about what lies ahead. 'We Shall Ramp Up Our Bed Capacity to 1,000 Beds'
Ivy Hospital, a dream project of Dr Kanwaldeep Kaur along with her entrepreneur husband Gurtej Singh (CEO), is one of the largest healthcare provider in the region with a covered area of about 1, 30,000 square feet.
