Lilavati Hospital Plans To Invest Rs 400 crore on Expansion

Mumbai-based Lilavati Hospital is planning to start two more hospitals in the country and is also going to make its facilities reach more sections of society. Opening facilities in rural areas is going to be a major focus area for the hospital.

Lilavati Hospital also proposes to expand its existing facilities at Bandra in Mumbai by adding 200 rooms with ultra-modern robotic operation facility.

The hospital plans to utilise 1.8 lakh square feet of additional FSI to add these 200 rooms. The entire expansion plan of Lilavati Hospital will cost Rs 400 crores.

"Now ,we intend to open two more hospitals after obtaining the necessary permissions," said Managing Trustee and CEO, Vijay Mehta.

Lilavati Hospital is among the top 10 hospitals in India. In spite of legal issues going on in the trust, Lilavati Hospital provides world class medical treatment to patients.
