Clairvoyance 2009
A Call for Young Entrepreneurs
Clairvoyance 2009 would not only be an attempt to replicate
the earlier success stories, but would also add new dimensions to the event
School of Health System studies (SHSS), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS)
proudly announces this year's annual event, Clairvoyance 2009. The event would
be held on 19th and 20th of December 2009 at the Convention Centre, Naoroji
Campus, TISS, Mumbai.
'Clairvoyance' is a signature annual event conducted by the students of SHSS,
TISS. It is an endeavour to bring together multitudes of healthcare professionals,
students and industry leaders to a common platform of deliberation and discussion.
Clairvoyance 2009 is an exploration of innovative ways to build capacities
at various levels of healthcare. This year's event would comprise a symphony
of seminars, debates and panel discussions highlighting newer approaches to
the age-old issues of workforce shortage and employability, healthcare financing
and sustainability and the widespread use of technology. With this overarching
theme, some of the areas of public health and hospital which would be addressed
by eminent speakers from the industry include:
- Building Capacities in terms of the Human resources
in healthcare.
- Technological capacity building.
- Breaking new grounds in health care/hospital financing.
- Strategic business models/plans for hospitals.
- Middle level management capacity building.
This year's Clairvoyance, following the tradition, would be an attempt by the
students of SHSS, TISS to fulfil the expectations and do justice with what so
far has been devoted in building the repute. Clairvoyance 2009 would not only
be an attempt to replicate the earlier success stories, but would also add new
dimensions to the event.
Clairvoyance '09 is indeed a call for the young entrepreneurs, as the event
promises some exciting opportunity for the budding healthcare managers and public
health enthusiasts to showcase their potential which would be in the form of
student based events.
