Religare Laboratories Launches Global Knowledge Forum

Super Religare Laboratories (SRL), India's largest diagnostics network, recently announced the launch of the 'Global Knowledge Forum', inaugurated by Nobel Laureate in medicine Prof Peter C Doherty from University of Melbourne. The SRL Global Knowledge Forum will offer an interactive platform for qualitative scientific discourse amongst individuals from varied fields of biomedical sciences. It will bring together the best minds from medical sciences to pose and answer queries related to recent advances in health and disease management with special focus on laboratory medicine.

Said Dr Sanjeev K Chaudhry, CEO, Super Religare Laboratories Limited, "Today it is an era of co-option and not competition to serve the patients with the very best of services utilising the collective pool of available scientific knowledge. The SRL Global Knowledge Forum would serve as the perfect crucible for experts from diverse scientific fields of applied medicine, laboratory medicine, diagnostics etc to share their research findings — experiential and numeric to give insights into the new emerging directions of using knowledge for enhanced customer service."

Said Prof Peter C Doherty, Nobel Laureate in Medicine and Laureate Professor, University of Melbourne, "This path-breaking initiative will provide a much needed platform for medical professionals worldwide to collaborate, share their learnings, develop guidelines and explore solutions for better disease management and patient care."

SRL Global Knowledge forum will organise seminars, conferences and CME programmes; will encourage and felicitate individuals for their contributions in biomedical sciences and will work as a platform for scientific collaboration and networking. Efforts of the SRL Global Knowledge Forum will also be directed towards reaching out to a greater section of the general population with an aim to increase awareness, bust myths, and provide knowledge about health and disease in an easy-to-understand mode.
