Hospitals 2010
Despite the economic downturn that slowed down all industries,
the pace of healthcare is not undeterred. In fact, across the length and breadth
of the country, there are ample hospital projects on the verge of completion.
Rita Dutta picks and profiles the leading 15 hospitals to be commissioned
in 2010
A hospital is more than just bricks and walls, unlike other
constructions. It is 'intelligent designing' at its best that houses the best
brains who have the most 'intelligent technologies' at their doorsteps, running
24-7, 365-days, non-stop. It's a powerhouse, with all human emotions amalgamating
in one placea supercharged place which you call hospital. No wonder, it
takes years to painstakingly plan to construct a hospital.
No less effort goes in equipping the hospital, getting the right manpower and
then above all, marketing that hospital. The entire management goes through
this rigmarole, yet it is only a few hospitals that ultimately make a mark and
acquire almost iconic status and become dubbed as the ultimate life-saver.
Presenting you a list of prolific 15 mega-projects across
the country, slated to make a colossal impact in catering to healthcare
needs. It's indeed encouraging to see that despite building a hospital
being capital-intensive, we have medical entrepreneurs who are either
building their first project or consolidating their national network.
There is a definite paradigm shift towards corporate culture, as
out of 15 up-coming hospitals that are profiled, 14 are corporate
hospitals.
