About architecture: "An interesting feature is
that we have tried to increase the Northern surface of the building and have
minimised the area on the west, thereby minimising the heat gain on the building
and maximising the natural day lighting. Also, the entire building look into
the large courtyard which can be viewed by everyone in the hospital," says
Dr NK Pandey, Chairman and MD, AIMS. From a medical point of view, all sterile
spaces or clean areas have been clubbed. "We have integrated functions
right at the drawing board. Each OT, labour room, cath lab and other critical
areas will work with independent AHU with HEFA filters to control infection
and cross infection," he adds.
Vision: "Our vision is to be the most trusted
healthcare partner for people through our unsurpassed quality and care and by
striving to provide accessible, affordable and best available healthcare services
in India. Mission is expressed in the adage 'caring for what matters most'.
At AIMS, we stand for caring for health, life, family, relationships, happiness
and overall community well being. My team is committed to providing quality
healthcare service and genuine care for all," says Dr Pandey.
USP of the project: Advanced care in oncology (medical,
radiation and surgical) which was not available in Haryana, Rajasthan parts
of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, would now be accessible to a vast segment
of the population residing there. Round-the-clock dialysis services for patients
with kidney aliments would enable them to enjoy a better quality of life and
a host of other super-specialties would be one the strengths of the hospital.
It is the first hospital in Faridabad to offer a 'one stop healthcare' solution.
AIMS is the comprehensive cancer centre. It is a hospital built, managed and
run by India's most skilled medical professionals offering a patient and doctor-friendly
environment. First of its kind luxury wellness spa in the region and a fully
equipped health club integrated with the holistic wellness programmers. It is
focused on quality and patient care to provide accessible, affordable and the
best available healthcare service in India.
Centrally air-conditioned: Yes.
About technology that is latest in Faridabad: AIMS
is the first hospital in Northern India to acquire and install Rapid Arc-IGRT
and IMRT Linear accelerator (Varian). The hospital has 11 modular operation
theatres, fitted with state-of-art LED Trilux Aurinio lighting and equipped
with a Trilux media bridge. It is equipped with the first true PET/CT (16 Slice)
in this region, Home Bipap therapy for respiration failure i.e. COPD patients.
It offers minimal invasive surgery through computer assisted Orthroscopic.
Environment-friendly measures: Rain water harvesting,
STP and use of day light.
Use of IT: One point access for all records like lab
investigations and patient history which patients can access from anywhere.
Number of clinicians and non-clinicians to be hired:
Total staff will be around 1,200.
Ways to market it: "The healthcare industry is
highly consumer driven and consumer satisfaction is vital. We will endeavour
to provide personalised care with quality service to our customers in keeping
with our motto 'caring for what matters most'. We are distinctly positioned
from other, as we will be creating bhagidari (with the local community). They
will be integrated with the working of the hospital. We expect the community
to be directly advising the hospital, particulars where services to poor patients
are concerned," says Dr Pandey. Establishing a sense of trust with patient
would be paramount in consolidating its brand. "We will build our brand
by synergy of excellent clinic expertise with a professional management team
which will constantly strive to give our patients a great healthcare experience.
Regular training programmers' will be conducted for both medical and non- medical
for better staff patient relationship as patients spend 10 per cent time with
doctors and 90 per cent time with staff in a hospital," says Dr Pandey.
It will organise continuous medical education, awareness programmes for general
health check-up camps both in-house and in nearby villages and organise events
on health days. It will enhance its reach through brochures, patient information
materials, corporate film and exhibitions.
Future plans of the hospital and of the group: Blue
Sapphire Healthcare Private is planning to follow the wheel and spoke strategy.
A number of centres are planned in the future, catering to the localised requirements
and connected to the central facility at Faridabad for maximum utilisation of
the highly skilled team and the state-of-the art equipment.
