German fertility management group Morphues is all set to enter India by establishing a chain of fertility centers across the country starting with Mumbai. The company will open its first three centers in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik soon and plans to add five more centers over next two to three months in other major cities of India.

The new Morpheus fertility centers are equipped with the latest embryology equipment imported from leading suppliers around the globe. Some of the advanced techniques in the field of fertility management like laser hatching, IMSI for sperm selection, spindle detection system for insemination are incorporated in the embryology procedures at these centers. The centers are equipped to conduct all Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) procedures like IUI, IVF, ICSI and IMSI, Egg and Embryo Donation, Zona Bifringerence and more.

The German promoters of Morpheus Life Sciences Pvt Ltd have extensive experience in the field of fertility management spanning over two decades, having performed altogether more than 30,000 IVF cycles till date through their various associated fertility centers in Germany.

The Morpheus fertility centers, formed in partnership with leading gynaecologists, will offer patients 'standardised treatment' in terms of protocol management, embryological procedures, drugs and media selection and professional counseling guidance.

Said Dr Arvind Chandra, Director Morpheus and a leading gynaecologist, "In conservative society like India as well as neighbouring Asian countries, causes of infertility are many and are often not treated on time. This causes marital strain and social trauma in families. Adequate education along with timely medical counseling can help couples to address the problem and find effective solutions."
