Trivitron Health care, the largest medical technology manufacturing
company of Indian origin inks a memorandum of understanding with IIT Madras
to set up 'Trivitron Innovation Center', a center of excellence for biomedical
research and development and design in IIT, Madras to offer own design, innovative
and cost effective medical technology solutions to India and other emerging
markets.
Trivitron has been speaking the language of healthcare providers for over 13
years with a range of over 500 products for over 20 medical specialties and
is the first to set up South Asia's medical technology park in India.
This step will make Trivitron's dream come true to become a game changer by
establishing its own design center and offering innovation, own designs and
IPs in medical technology to the country and emerging markets in the world.
The innovation center will fuel Trivitron's goal to create a center of excellence
to design and develop MT products for their own business needs and manufacturing
and be a design and development partner to its Joint Venture partners and top
medical technology players of the world. The center will focus on inventions
in medical technology, invent new concepts, design unique products and obtain
patents with an access to brilliant scientists and academicians in IIT campus.
IIT, Madras has an impeccable record of producing some of the world's best talents
in the fields of engineering design with application in various fields of technology
including advanced bio medical applications for medical technology products.
The innovation center will help IITians to bring commercially viable medical
devices into the market through continuous interactions and inputs from Trivitron
engineering, manufacturing and support team and also an employment opportunity
for students and project associates in Trivitron design and development centre
on and off campus.
