Hinduja Hospital Introduces Combo Cath Lab machine 'Artis Zee'

Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital added another feather in their cap
by installing the latest Combo Cath Lab machine 'Artis Zee'. The machine will
benefit a number of fields in medicine like stroke, intracranial / carotid stenting,
aneurysm, ortho - oncology, peripheral vascular disease etc.
Speaking about the technology, Dr Jagdish Modhe, Consultant Radiologist and
Head, Department of Imaging, Hinduja Hospital, said, "Hinduja Hospital
has always been instrumental in getting the latest technology to the country.
This technology can be applied to various fields of medicine; e.g. Peripheral
Vascular Intervention, Neuro Intervention etc."
The introduction of Interventional Neuroradiology has made
it possible to treat many conditions which were initially considered to be surgically
difficult or even untreatable. The latest equipment in the field is 'Artis Zee'
which is powered by intelligent imaging technology enabling imaging excellence,
enhanced work flow and enhanced safety due to better control. It also allows
radiation reduction for patient's minimum radiation exposure without compromises
in image quality.
