RMS Regrow Gets ISO 13485:2003

RMS Regrow, India's leading cell therapy and cord blood banking service provider, has been accredited with ISO 13485:2003. The company has received this certification for their therapies, Chondron and Ossron; and cord blood banking service, BabyCell. With this development, RMS Regrow has become India's first cell therapy company to provide quality services of international standards to its customers and associates.

ISO 13485:2003 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and related services. The primary objective of ISO 13485:2003 is to facilitate harmonised medical device regulatory requirements for quality management systems.

Talking about the ISO certification Dr Vinayak V Kedage, Lab Director, RMS Regrow, said, "We are delighted to receive this certification. RMS has been following stringent quality management procedures in its business operations. The ISO 13485:2003 will ensure that our medical devices and related services will now be in compliance with global standards. This certification will further build trust and confidence of RMS amongst its customers and associates."
