Yos Record Management System for Hospitals Launched

Bangaluru-based Yos Technologies Pvt Ltd (Yos), a healthcare software products and solutions company, has announced the release of the latest version of its flagship product 'Yos Record Management System (Yos RMS)' - a unique smart card based solution for managing hospital inpatient and outpatient records.

'Yos RMS' allows all the hospital records to be maintained online for better space utilisation, enables exchange of data across various locations of the hospital network safely and efficiently and also helps in clinical analysis of data for planning as well as for research. Its light weight architecture and document-oriented database keeps resource requirements to minimum while being extremely scalable.

Said Vijaya Verma, Founder & CEO of Yos Technologies, "Hospitals typically need to maintain in-patient files for many years for regulatory reasons. NABH accreditation requires that hospitals maintain medical records for out-patients also. Ability to retrieve the records in reasonable amount of time to the satisfaction of patients and the doctors / consultants is a major challenge for the hospital if they are being maintained on paper. This version comes with support for various options, including ICD-10 codes, which are a great value-add to hospitals seeking advanced statistical reports.”

The RMS developed by Yos has been deployed in more than 30 hospitals, and is a pay-as-you-grow solution that is tuned to the existing processes of the hospitals, while being flexible enough to cater to future changes. It can be offered as hosted or standalone implementations to suit the level of capital expenditures of hospitals.

"The easy to implement 'Yos RMS' value proposition to hospitals includes improved efficiency, improved quality of care, better enablement of clinical research, E-connectivity across departments and minimum infrastructure requirements. Yos also offers digitisation services where needed," added Verma.
