National Quality Conference at KIMS
The conclave is initiated as an opportunity for the healthcare
community to exchange ideas in quality patient care
Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram is
organising a national level conference - KIMS Quality Conclave II to be held
on the 24th of July, 2010 at The Classic Avenue Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram. The
conclave shall be based on the central theme 'Quality Healthcare - Dream to
Reality'.
The one-day quality conclave is initiated as an opportunity
for the healthcare community to exchange ideas and to get abreast with the current
and future developments in quality patient care. The speakers at the event are:
Dr Giridhar J Gyani, Secretary General, Quality Council of India, Dr MI Sahadulla
- Chairman & Managing Director, KIMS, Dr Yash Paul Bhatia - Consultant,
Astron Healthcare, New Delhi, Dr Uma Nambiar - CEO, Raheja Hospital, Mumbai,
Dr Karthikeya Varma - Director, Quality, Academics and Research, MIMS, Calicut,
Dr Ataat Khan, Managing Director, Kameda Infologics Pvt. Ltd., Dr Sanjeev K

The conclave will be addressed by national and international healthcare experts,
administrators, quality nursing and infection control specialists, who will
share experiences and innovative ideas in implementing quality initiatives in
the hospital through active support from all stakeholders.
The conclave is targeted at hospital CEOs/administrators,
hospital management professionals, medical directors, quality personnel, doctors,
nursing supervisors, infection control practitioners and hospital administration
students who have a passion for quality. KIMS is organising such a conclave
for the second time in four years on demand of heathcare professional in Kerala.
