The Indian healthcare industry is seen to be growing at a
rapid pace and is expected to become a $280 billion industry by 2020.India has
shown a steady improvement in basic health indicators such as life expectancy
at birth, infant mortality etc. Expenses incurred by the Indian Government on
health care is the highest amongst developing countries. India is also establishing
itself as a global healthcare destination for medical tourismWhile the Indian
healthcare system has grown manifold over the past few years, it has yet not
been able to keep pace with the rapid rise in the population; a very large part
