Israeli Cardiac Surgeons Perform Critical Heart Surgeries at KEM

The surgeons are in India as a part of the Israel month

Dr George R Franke, Director, Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit at Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel, Dr Viacheslav Bobovnikov, Cardiac Surgeon and Dr Eyal E Porat, Director, Cardiothoracic Surgery from Rabin Medical Centre, Israel performed critical heart surgeries alongside their Indian counterparts at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. The doctors have come to India as a part of the Israel Month. It is being hosted in Mumbai by the Consulate General of Israel, Mumbai as a prelude to the 20 year celebrations of diplomatic relations between Israel and India.

The doctors are aiming to plan routine visits of the Israeli Doctors to KEM as a part of philanthropic activities between the two countries. The Consulate of Israel has had Israeli Trauma experts visit the KEM Hospital in the recent past. Through this co-operation, the Consulate General of Israel is looking at improving the medical facility in India and the mutual benefit of the medical professionals of both the countries.
