Pricol Limited is a company that has been successful in automobile industry for the past 35 years supporting automobile manufacturing industry. Pricol Medical System Limited is an off-shoot of Pricol Limited (PMSL) that has been floated recently to focus on medical industry. The objective of PMSL is to identify the key products of the medical industry and manufacture these gadgets that would benefit patient, customer, the industry and the country. The first product identified and manufactured by PMSL is Inventa, an ICU Ventilator for adult and paediatrics. This is basically a defense project started by SBMT, which is a division of DRDO. The objective of SBMT is to manufacture equipment and instruments for our country which is otherwise imported from abroad. This is driven towards self-sufficiency. The main technology partners towards the development of Inventa are NIMHANS, Bangalore, Society for Bio-Medical Technology (SBMT), Bangalore. Defense Metallurgical Reserarch Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad and PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. This is a dream project of our ex-President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Inventa is a fine product that has been designed by eminent clinical doctors and developed by the scientist and technocrats of defense and PMSL. The highlight of this product is low cost of ownership due to indigenous design and manufacture.

Product Description

Inventa is an adult / paediatric ICU ventilator designed to meet the needs of Indian healthcare system. The volume controlled and pressure controlled ventilation with mandatory and assisted breaths support most of the patient needs with care.

User-friendly keypad with 'scroll-n-select' knob ensures easy operation to clinicians and technicians. 9 inch TFT with colour coded monitor ensures easy display of patient and monitored parameters for quick understanding of set and monitored parameters.

The creative design of Inventa makes it rugged, compact and elegant. Its standards are comparable to international ones and it has already acquired TUV certification and at the same time the cost of ownership is very low compared to any ventilator in the Industry.

Acknowledging the success of Inventa, the Directorate of Science and Technology has approached PMSL through PSG College of Technology, to develop infant ventilator that is exclusively used for premature babies, newborns to grown-up pediatrics.

Thus, the journey started by PMSL will ensure ultimate customer satisfaction by its prompt after-sales-support in the medical industry. Continuous education and training will also enable the clinicians and technicians to give utmost care to the patient and thus set a standard in this industry.
