In which segments of radiology does your company focus
on?
Within the healthcare IT, we specialise in advance image
visualisation systems. This is in fact, the logical step for hospitals to enterprise
wide distribution, viewing, post-processing of 2D/3D/4D images.
What is the uniqueness of the technology used for these
products?
It's a proprietary product, known as Volume Pro Card, a small PCI express card,
with computing powers equivalent of 4 Xeon processors. This card already powers
many of the OEMs in their CT scanners and 3D workstations.
Any technology that you pioneered in radiology?
This above mentioned hardware has been rated by some key university level radiologists
as the next big thing after the invention of X-ray.We use the word disruptive
as no CT vendor wants to offer more than one user login per workstation, while
we allow up to three concurrent users per workstation.
What is the USP of your company?
We permit multiple instances of radiologists/ technologists/ physicians to login
in to the system and each user can independently view, post-process (2D,3D &
4D) and distribute images. Also, we offer complete suite of licenses.
What market opportunities and trends do you witness in
Indian radiology market? How do you plan to tap it?
The market for high-end multi slice CT scanners is booming and so is the demand
and market for high-end server based workstations increasing.
In how many countries are you present and what is the company's
strength in India?
We are today covering all the continents and most countries across the globe.
We have a small presence in India but will be strengthened further in the year
2009.
How many sales offices do you have in India?
We currently have only one office in India.
How has the company grown over the years in India and worldwide
in the radiology segment?
The company was started in the year 1997 and today we are more than 300 highly
skilled, high motivated employees.
What are your expansion plans? What strategies you plan
to adopt for expansion?
We intend to strengthen our employee strength in all the
departments, plus we are looking for good channel partners to reach out to the
maximum audience.
