StatSensor Point of Care Creatinine Testing for Radiology
In response to the growing need to quickly and easily assess kidney function
on patients scheduled for imaging procedures, Nova Biomedical introduces StatSensor
Creatinine, a handheld analyser and miniaturised, disposable biosensor for whole
blood creatinine testing. StatSensor Creatinine and eGFR results are available
in only 30 seconds. StatSensor's small, 1.2 microliter ( L) whole blood sample
can be obtained virtually painlessly by finger stick. StatSensor pre-calibrated,
ready to use biosensor enables creatinine testing to be easily performed by
radiology technicians or other radiology personnel.

Induced Nephropathy
Contrast media induced nephropathy (CMIN) is the third most common cause of
acute renal failure in hospitalised patients. CMIN is associated with prolonged
hospital stay, adverse cardiac events, and high mortality. An increasing number

patient population subjected to these procedures is progressively older and
