Fortis Malar Hospital and Portea Medical partnership brings post-operative care to homes of patients

Fortis Malar Hospital patients in Chennai will now have access to post-operative care as well as a range of healthcare services delivered at home following a partnership agreement signed by Fortis and Portea Medical (www.portea.com), the country’s leading home medical care provider.

Following the agreement patients discharged from Fortis Malar Hospital can receive post-operative care including physiotherapy as well as other medical care in the comfort of their homes and during pre-agreed time slots. The services are delivered by Portea Medical’s doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and nursing attendants. Also, Portea Medical’s ancillary services such as medical equipment on hire, medicine delivery and collection of lab samples from home, will be made available to patients.
