RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital has launched its telemedicine service which will offer super-speciality consultation in case of any ailment or query over the phone (telemedicine) or e-mail (web medicine) by the doctors of RG Stone.
With the service, the patients can connect to an urologist for problems related to the urinary system such as urinary stones, prostate enlargement, stress urinary incontinence (urine leakage) and urinary stricture. They can also consult laparoscopic surgeons for problems like gall bladder stones, appendicitis, hernia, fistula, and piles. Laparoscopic gynaecologists can be consulted for ailments such as uterine fibroid, ovarian cyst, uterus removal, endometriosis, menstrual problems, polycystic ovaries, and infertility. The service can be availed by dialling 1800 102 1777 or writing to doctor@rghospital.com. It is available from Monday to Saturday between 9 am and 8 pm.
RG Stone has also come up with the idea of satellite clinics so as to provide service at the doorstep. One such set up has been established at Model Town (North Delhi) and the hospital will set up four more such clinics in different parts of the capital very soon. The patients can avail pre and post-operative care at these clinics itself, without wasting time in commuting to far off places.
A special call centre has also been set up where people can get consultation from RG Stone’s specialists, without any fee (even calls would be toll free on 1800-102-1777). RG Stone Urology & Laparoscopy Hospital has developed special software as well to provide the benefit of web-medicine where consultation can be availed on e-mail via Internet services. The patients would be easily able to provide their medical reports to the doctor and avoid travelling to distant places.
