4baseCare raises ₹90 crore in first close of Series B funding round

Funds to be used for global expansion of genomics lab network and AI-based clinical decision support platform

4baseCare, a precision oncology company focused on building population-relevant clinico-genomic intelligence, has announced the first close of its Series B funding round, raising ₹90 crore. The round was co-led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with participation from existing investor Yali Capital.

The company had earlier raised ₹50 crore in a Series A funding round led by Yali Capital, with participation from Infosys.

According to the company, the funds from the first close will be used to expand its hospital-linked genomics laboratory network across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia. The stated objective of this expansion is to make precision oncology available to cancer patients across multiple geographies.

4baseCare also plans to accelerate the development and deployment of its AI-based clinical decision support solutions, including OncoTwin Insights. These solutions are intended to assist oncologists in deriving treatment insights from clinico-genomic and outcomes-linked datasets. The company stated that OncoTwin was recently selected for the MSK iHub programme of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA.

Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, co-leads for the funding round, said, “4baseCare is building a powerful genomics and AI-driven clinical intelligence platform for inclusive precision oncology. With strong hospital partnerships enabling access to world-class diagnostics for patients in clinical settings, the company is well positioned to scale across emerging markets and expand its delivery model for maximum patient benefit.”

Hitesh Goswami, CEO of 4baseCare, said, “We are grateful for the trust and backing from Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi as we enter our next phase of growth. This funding will help us scale globally while building OncoTwin as an AI-driven decision support platform that learns from real-world clinico-genomic outcomes and supports oncologists with faster, more confident insights.”
