Aarthi Scans & Labs and Origin Medical Research Lab India Private Limited, the research and development arm of Origin Medical, have announced their ongoing collaboration to advance the quality and accessibility of prenatal ultrasound care through artificial intelligence (AI).
According to the companies, the two organisations have worked together over the past five years to develop and validate AI solutions that support maternal-fetal imaging in high-volume clinical environments, with the aim of helping ensure that expecting mothers receive consistent prenatal assessments.
The collaboration has focused on multiple stages of the prenatal ultrasound workflow, including automated image capture, anatomical landmark detection, real-time image quality assessment and fetal biometry.
According to the companies, these AI capabilities are designed to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce variability and support clinicians in delivering standardised prenatal care.
