Aksigen IVF has announced the launch of its 5,000 sq ft fertility centre in Panvel, Maharashtra, as part of its expansion across Navi Mumbai, Raigad and neighbouring regions.
The centre brings together advanced embryology, diagnostic services, personalised clinical pathways, digital laboratory systems and patient education under one roof. According to Aksigen IVF, the centre has been designed around quality, transparency and clinical governance, with the aim of expanding access to evidence-based fertility care across Navi Mumbai, Raigad and neighbouring regions.
A key feature of the Panvel centre is the Bharat Daftary Knowledge Centre (BDKC), described by Aksigen IVF as the first immersive IVF Knowledge Centre of its kind in the Navi Mumbai and Raigad region. It is designed to help patients understand fertility, IVF treatment and reproductive health through interactive and technology-enabled learning experiences.
The centre offers fertility consultations and diagnostic services, supported by an embryology laboratory. The laboratory operates within validated environmental controls and follows SOP-driven workflows, with a focus on precision, consistency and patient safety. According to Aksigen IVF, this supports quality and reliability across stages of the IVF journey, including fertilisation, embryo culture and cryopreservation.
The centre provides assisted reproductive technologies, including In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection (IMSI), Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT/PGD), Laser Assisted Hatching, advanced embryo culture and cryopreservation.
It is also equipped with the LensHooke CASA X12 Pro, an AI-enabled semen analysis platform capable of assessing double strand DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI). The platform provides objective and reproducible semen analysis to provide insights into male fertility and support treatment planning.
To strengthen patient safety, the centre has implemented RFID-based electronic witnessing with biometric verification, enabling traceability of biological samples throughout the IVF journey. The system is combined with manual double witnessing and digital documentation to support transparency and chain-of-custody protocols.
The Panvel centre incorporates elements of Aksigen IVF’s proprietary ROOTS 360 ecosystem, integrating advanced embryology, AI-enabled clinical governance, personalised treatment pathways, digitally integrated electronic medical records (EMR) and ANIRA, Aksigen IVF’s digital fertility companion.
Speaking on the launch, Dr Gautam Daftary, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director, Aksigen IVF, said, “Expanding into Panvel is about making high-quality fertility care more accessible to families across Navi Mumbai and surrounding regions. We have brought consultations, diagnostics, embryology, treatment and patient education together under one roof, supported by advanced technology and clinical systems. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on delivering consistent, transparent and patient-centred fertility care.”
Highlighting the centre’s clinical approach, Dr Varsha Patial, Centre Head, Aksigen IVF, added, “Successful fertility treatment is built on much more than technology. It requires consistent laboratory quality, evidence-based clinical pathways and informed patients. By bringing these elements together, we are able to personalise treatment while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency and patient safety throughout the care journey.”
The Panvel centre further strengthens Aksigen IVF’s clinic network while reinforcing its commitment to combining clinical expertise, technology and patient education to improve the fertility care experience and treatment outcomes.
