Corona Remedies sets a record for the most people screened for diabetes in one day by screening over 7,000 people across the country on World Diabetes Day. This world record illustrates Corona’s commitment to preventive healthcare, early diagnosis and lifestyle management of diabetes.
Along with the health checking, the participants were made aware of the risk factors such as sedentary lifestyle, food habits, and genetic history. They were further guided with preventive measures including timely doctor visit.
The campaign aimed to identify individuals at risk of diabetes while raising awareness about lifestyle modifications, regular check-ups, and timely medical intervention. By reducing the gap between disease onset and diagnosis, it encouraged people to take proactive steps toward accessing healthcare—an essential need amid India’s rapidly rising diabetes burden. These initiatives also seek to instill healthy habits early, ensuring that nutrition awareness, physical activity, and preventive screening become an integral part of everyday life, particularly among younger populations.
Speaking on the occasion, Nirav K. Mehta, Managing Director & CEO, Corona Remedies Limited, said, “This world record is not just a number, but a reflection of our deep commitment to preventive healthcare and community well-being. Through the PANDA Study, our objective is to raise nationwide awareness about diabetes and encourage early diagnosis, which plays a critical role in improving long-term health outcomes. I congratulate Team AURA PMT, our participating doctors, and all stakeholders who made this impactful initiative possible.”
The global record attempt has been officially documented and confirmed by an internationally recognised record certification body, recognising the scale, coordination and impact of the initiative. The project reflects Corona Remedies Limited’s evolving approach—going beyond treatment to actively support preventive healthcare efforts that deliver meaningful and lasting societal impact.
This new programme reinforces the company’s commitment to raising health awareness in the community and supports India’s overall health efforts to address non-communicable disease.
