Even Hospitals launches ₹299 fever and dengue screening package in Bengaluru

Hospital network marks one year of operations with screening package and 24/7 dengue hotline

Even Hospitals, a managed care hospital network in Bengaluru, has launched a ₹299 Fever & Dengue Screening Package as part of its first anniversary celebrations in the city. The package will be available from 13 July.

The hospital has also introduced a 24/7 Dengue Hotline (9187213889) to provide medical guidance for people experiencing fever or dengue-like symptoms. According to the hospital, callers will be connected with doctors who can advise on symptoms, recommend the next course of action, and determine whether testing or immediate medical attention is required.

According to Even Hospitals, the initiative has been launched in response to the rise in dengue and monsoon-related fever cases reported in Bengaluru in recent weeks. The hospital stated that the initiative is intended to support early diagnosis by making screening more accessible.

The hospital noted that dengue, malaria and viral fever often present similar symptoms in the early stages, including persistent fever, body ache, headache, chills and fatigue, but require different approaches to treatment.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr Chandrika Kambam, Group Medical Director, Balloon Healthcare Private Limited, said, “One of the biggest reasons patients experience complications from dengue and other viral illnesses is delayed diagnosis. As we celebrate our first year of caring for Bengaluru, we wanted to give back by making fever screening simple, affordable and accessible. Early intervention can make a significant difference to patient outcomes.”

The ₹299 Fever & Dengue Screening Package includes a consultation with an internal medicine specialist, Complete Blood Count (CBC), Dengue Panel comprising NS1 Antigen, IgG and IgM, Malaria Parasite Test (MPQB), Liver Function Test (LFT), and Urine Routine Examination.

According to the hospital, the package is intended for adults who have experienced fever for one to five days, particularly those with body ache, headache, weakness, chills or fatigue, and those who suspect dengue, malaria or viral fever. Even members, their families and individuals who have delayed seeking medical care despite persistent symptoms are also encouraged to avail of the package.

The hospital stated that bookings and enquiries can be made through the Even app or its hotline.

Even Hospitals stated that its managed care model focuses on prevention, early intervention and coordinated care. During its first year of operations in Bengaluru, the hospital network supported more than 40,000 members, delivered over 1.37 lakh specialist consultations, and managed preventive, outpatient and inpatient care services.

The hospital also offers a ₹999 Care Package, an annual subscription that includes unlimited 24/7 online consultations with doctors, access to general physicians, specialists and nutritionists, and teleconsultations through the Even app across India.

According to the hospital, its managed care model integrates general physicians, specialists, diagnostics, imaging and laboratory services into a single system to coordinate patient care. The ₹299 fever screening initiative is intended to support early diagnosis before illnesses require emergency medical care.
