Fortis Healthcare has signed an Operations and Management (O&M) agreement with Dion Group for a 300-bed greenfield multi-specialty hospital to be developed at Dion Riverside Township, Trishulia, in Cuttack, Odisha.
According to the company, Dion Group, headquartered in Bhubaneswar, has a presence in Odisha through residential, commercial and integrated township developments and is expanding its footprint across hospitality and healthcare infrastructure.
Once operational, the hospital will serve patients across Odisha and neighbouring regions by providing tertiary care services, clinical expertise, medical technology and healthcare services.
The hospital will be located in the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar corridor and is planned as a Centre of Excellence for multiple specialties. According to the company, the facility will provide tertiary and quaternary care services supported by diagnostics, critical care infrastructure and specialised clinical programmes.
The collaboration marks Fortis Healthcare’s first major presence in Odisha and forms part of the company’s strategy to expand healthcare access through brownfield expansion and inorganic growth initiatives, including operations and management agreements and asset-light growth models.
