HealthPlix Technologies has released a report on the EMR landscape in India, highlighting the significant growth and adoption of EMR across specialties, and cities by female doctors.

In 2022, the top 10 densely populated cities where the software has been widely adopted are Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. This signifies the current focus of doctors in improving the quality of healthcare by capturing structured information, automating, and streamlining their workflows via an EMR.

Per NITI Aayog Health Index, Manipur stands in 26th position with inadequate healthcare amenities. However, breaking all cultural barriers, a female diabetologist in Imphal, the capital of Manipur was able to conduct 50K+ patients visit after joining the HealthPlix platform in just 15 months. This further proves the fact that the platform has now become the medium among women doctors in India.

EMR acts as a robust decision support tool for doctors for the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment. In India, the top five specialties growth rate of women doctors who have been using EMR software are endocrinologists 300 per cent, gynaecologists 178 per cent, general physicians 298 per cent, dermatologists 126 per cent and consulting physicians 200 per cent.
