Collaboration expands access to specialised courses for HCPs
IQVIA announced a collaboration with Medvarsity Online to provide healthcare professionals (HCPs) with flexible, on-demand medical e-training solutions through IQVIA’s collaborative learning platform HCP Space to support training compliance.
Through this strategic alliance, professionals on HCP Space will be able to access more than 150 courses in clinical and management areas covering a wide range of specialties including diabetes, emergency medicine, cardiology, nutrition, wellness, healthcare informatics, mental health, and more. With these online courses, HCPs will be able to further advance their training, knowledge and career wherever they are, while providing quality healthcare for their patients by ensuring their certifications stay current through continuing education.
“Bringing together a coherent network of HCPs, industry, relevant content and a robust digital backbone for knowledge exchange and interaction is the need of the hour,” said Amit Mookim, managing director, IQVIA South Asia.
“We are extremely glad to join hands with IQVIA. The collaboration will help us strengthen our vision of impacting healthcare through education. Given the rapid change in the healthcare delivery approach and the advancements in technologies, we need to reassess the learning needs of healthcare professionals. Upskilling is of utmost importance for healthcare professionals to keep themselves abreast of the latest developments in clinical sciences and medical technologies,” said Gerald Jaideep, CEO, Medvarsity Online.
The key benefits of this collaboration are that HCPs can gain access to 150+ online training programmes with more than 30,000 hours of eLearning. The customised learning modules for upskilling across specialisations in healthcare, with access to international faculty and training programmes developed and authored by experienced medical reviewers along with a team of over 300 healthcare experts as well as international accreditations with reputed universities like UNSW, Australia, Amity University and Cornell amongst others are other benefits listed in a press release.
