Manipal Hospital Millers Road has announced the appointment of two nephrologists, Dr. Naveen M Nayak, Consultant – Nephrologist, and Dr. Rajiv E N, Consultant – Nephrologist and Transplant Physician. The appointments support the hospital’s focus on renal sciences and kidney transplant care.
Both clinicians bring experience in nephrology and kidney transplantation, contributing to the hospital’s multidisciplinary approach to renal replacement therapy, dialysis and transplant medicine.
Dr. Naveen M Nayak has more than 15 years of experience in managing acute and chronic kidney diseases, dialysis and renal transplantation. His areas of work include glomerular diseases, renal replacement therapies, peritoneal dialysis and post-transplant patient management. He holds a DNB in Nephrology and has contributed to research in the field.
Dr. Rajiv E N has more than a decade of experience in nephrology and multiorgan transplantation. He has participated in more than 700 renal transplants, including ABO-incompatible, combined liver–kidney and simultaneous kidney-pancreas transplants. He holds a DM in Nephrology from the Institute of Nephro-Urology, Victoria Hospital, Bengaluru, and has worked in intensive care nephrology, CRRT and glomerular disease management. He has published research papers and presented work in journals and conferences.
