Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, has inaugurated a new 400-bed tower as part of its expansion of tertiary and quaternary healthcare capacity in the National Capital Region. The tower was inaugurated by Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah.
The event was attended by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta as Guest of Honour. Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Transport and Information Technology, Delhi Government, Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh, and Member of Parliament, South Delhi, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, also attended the event.
With the expansion, Max Hospital, Saket will have a total capacity of approximately 1,200 beds, making it the largest private hospital in Delhi by bed capacity. The hospital provides tertiary and quaternary healthcare across 22+ specialties.
Max Saket is part of Max Healthcare’s integrated healthcare and medical education ecosystem, backed by 42,000+ employees. Max Healthcare provided free treatment worth ₹244 crore to 3.60 lakh patients last year. Through the Max Institute of Medical Sciences, the organisation has supported 1.62 lakh students to date through higher education, training and professional learning programmes.
In the last financial year, Max Healthcare treated over 40 lakh patients from 800+ cities and 180+ countries, including those seeking specialised and advanced medical care.

The new facility is equipped with medical technologies including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot, supporting minimally invasive procedures across specialties.
