Medwiki becomes largest digital medicine-related video library

All videos are made using a proprietary Medwiki AI engine which uses facial reenactment + synthetic voice to make simple videos in regional languages

Medwiki, owned by Dawaa Dost, an omnichannel pharmacy retail chain, has become the largest digital medicine-related video library, globally with a repository of over 7.5 lakh videos in 6 Indian languages.

Users can go to Medwiki, and search for any medicine. The video informs the user about what the medicine is used to treat, how it works, side effects and other FAQs.

All videos are made using a proprietary Medwiki AI engine which uses facial reenactment + synthetic voice to make simple videos in regional languages.

Amit Choudhary, Co-founder and CEO, Dawaa Dost said, ”There are one billion+ healthcare searches on Google everyday. While the internet is overflowing with content related to medicine, the awareness around medications and their compositions is in an abysmal state, leading to plenty of room for misinformation. In addition to enhancing medication literacy, We aim to reach 100 million users by 2023.”
