Mylab expands its presence in the UAE and Kuwait through joint venture

Partners with AstraGene to develop molecular diagnostics in the UAE and Kuwait

Mylab Discovery Solutions has announced an exclusive strategic partnership with AstraGene LLC, UAE’s first molecular diagnostics manufacturing company, for developing automated molecular diagnostics for the UAE and Kuwait markets.

Under the agreement, Mylab and AstraGene will co-develop molecular diagnostic solutions including reagents and kits as well as fully-automated devices. This partnership marks Mylab’s latest international market expansion and supports the company’s long-term growth strategy to make high quality diagnostics more accessible around the world.

This partnership will play an essential role in upgrading laboratory infrastructure in the UAE and Kuwait, and will support the installation of advanced diagnostic systems in the laboratories. Together, the companies will develop world-class molecular diagnostic solutions to support the UAE and Kuwait healthcare sectors and make innovative tests available to patients.
