NephroPlus operationalises 2 more dialysis centres in the Republic of Uzbekistan

NephroPlus will provide dialysis care to over 1,100 patients in Uzbekistan. For this project, NephroPlus has established a 100 per cent owned local subsidiary to operate the centers

NephroPlus announces further expansion of its services in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The company is constructing four dialysis centers on a turnkey basis as a part of a broader partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Republic of Uzbekistan after securing a contract worth $100 million, where they will independently commission and operationalise these centers. Three centers have already been operationalised.

NephroPlus announces the opening of two new dialysis centers, one each in Urgench and Bogot, Uzbekistan. While the first center in Nukus, Karakalpakstan, became operational in April’ 22. This facility is the newest location in NephroPlus’ expanding global footprint. The company plans to open the fourth center in Tashkent, a 160 bedded center soon.

NephroPlus will provide dialysis care to over 1,100 patients in Uzbekistan. For this project, it has established a 100 per cent owned local subsidiary to operate the centers. It intends to implement its RenAssure protocols to deliver a synchronised and convenient patient experience in Uzbekistan.

Speaking on this achievement and its subsequent impact, Gapparov Faruk Abdukaxarovich, PPP Head, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan said, “Amidst the growing demand for quality dialysis in the country, we are committed to improving the healthcare services in the country through unique and dynamic PPP model wherein, NephroPlus, has been selected through an open competitive bidding process. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is working to continually expand affordable and top-notch healthcare infrastructure in the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
