India’s healthcare market, especially oral care, is quite fragmented – from economic local clinics, to premium oral care wings at multispecialty hospitals. Brands like Eka Dental Care offer the consistency of a premium dental practice at affordable rates, which is critical to expanding healthcare access in a country like India which is plagued by the lack of quality healthcare.
Eka Dental’s expansion is structured around two facets – delivering a consistent oral care practice; and leveraging technology solutions. The company, for example, is sourcing best-in-class machinery and equipment; and is also developing a proprietary AI platform to create treatment plans and patient management. Eka Dental clinics charge 40 to 60 per cent less than a comparable private practice in Mumbai; and hence, fulfil a significant gap between the premium dental chains and the unorganized, local clinics with an organized, economic and premium dental care.
According to the Company, it observed a 25-30 per cent patient traffic surge in Quarter 1, 2026, driven by new clinics and strategic marketing efforts. Through this expansion drive, Eka Dental Care plans to scale patient volume by 2 to 2.5X in the next 12-18 months. Currently, Eka Dental Care operates on a company-owned model to ensure patient experience consistency as well as comply with service quality standards. However, the company is open to structured franchise or partnership opportunities as the brand matures.
