PD Hinduja Hospital and The Division of AIDS (NIAID, NIH) to hold symposium in Mumbai

Discussions will be held on ‘Advancing TB Research – An Exploration of Opportunities’


PD Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre in association with The Division of AIDS (NIAID, NIH) will hold a symposium on ‘Advancing TB Research – An Exploration of Opportunities’ in Mumbai on April 23 & 24 at PD Hinduja Hospital & MRC. The symposium will be a congregation of 100+ TB Researchers, pulmonologists, infectious diseases specialists, internal medicine doctors, microbiologists, Bio – informaticians, CXO’s, medical directors, medical college students doing MD in Microbiology, students doing PhD in Microbiology.

The aim of the symposium is to increase awareness about research in tropical infectious diseases and TB. Speakers from leading global medical universities, research institutes, NGOs and government agencies like National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases; National Institute of Health – NIH, World Health Organization; Department of Health Research, India; Department of Biotechnology, India; PD Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Center, India; Johns Hopkins University; FIND India; Harvard Medical School; Imperial College London; Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Infectious Disease Research Institute; University of Massachusetts Medical Center; Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medial College; University of California San Francisco; Boston University Medical Center, will take part in the symposium.
