Collaborate to bring remote health monitoring to homecare patients
Portea Medical and American Megatrends, a leader in the development of smart diagnostic devices, have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at delivering improved health outcomes for homecare patients.
Under the partnership Portea’s healthcare workers will use AMI’s BOLT health monitoring device to collect health data such as non-invasive blood pressure (NiBP), pulse, blood oxygen levels and temperature from their homecare patients on smartphones. The data will then be used to personalise treatment plans and proactively intervene when the conditions of the patients warrant action.
