Pristyn Care ensures ‘Single-visit Safe Surgery’ amid second COVID-19 wave

‘Single-visit Safe Surgery’ service is for those patients who cannot delay their surgeries due to the severity of their medical conditions

Pristyn Care has stepped up hygiene and safety protocols for its surgery patients amid the second wave of COVID-19. Specialising in minimal invasive surgeries, it today introduced a ‘Single-visit Safe Surgery’ service for the patients who cannot delay their surgeries due to the severity of their medical conditions.

Under ‘Single-visit Safe Surgery’ service, the company is enabling teleconsultation, e-prescriptions, at-home COVID-19 testing before surgery, at-home insurance clearance (digitally), contact-free admission-discharge processes at the hospital and medicine delivery at home after surgery.

Advanced medical technology used by expert doctors of Pristyn Care for performing minimally invasive surgeries ensures that a patient’s stay in the hospital is the shortest.

Over 400 hospitals of Pristyn Care, as part of the ‘Single-visit Safe Surgery’ service, strictly adhere to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) and the Government of India’s (GOI) safety and sanitisation norms, along with supervision of the COVID-care team at Pristyn Care.

All the surgery patients before entering the hospital undergo COVID-19 testing arranged by the team at Pristyn Care through its network of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-approved partner laboratories.

Speaking about the programme, Dr Vaibhav Kapoor, Co-founder, Pristyn Care, said, “In the wake of the ongoing pandemic, some patients can delay their surgeries. However, there are other patients who cannot defer surgeries and require urgent treatment to avoid further progression of their disease which can be detrimental. With the ‘Single-visit Safe Surgery’ service, we want to reassure the patients that at Pristyn Care hospitals, their health and safety is of the utmost importance.”
