ShardaCare-Healthcity inaugurates bone marrow transplant centre in Greater Noida

Facility to provide transplant services for haematological conditions across adult and paediatric patients

ShardaCare-Healthcity announced the inauguration of a bone marrow transplant (BMT) centre in Greater Noida. The facility was inaugurated by Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of medical professionals and representatives from the Sharda Group.

The BMT centre is designed to provide treatment for haematological conditions including leukaemia, lymphoma, thalassaemia and aplastic anaemia. It includes infrastructure, infection-controlled units and a multidisciplinary team for transplant care.

The centre will offer bone marrow transplant procedures for paediatric and adult patients, including matched sibling, matched unrelated donor and haploidentical transplants. It will also provide autologous transplants for autoimmune conditions such as multiple sclerosis, supported by therapies including high-dose treatment, immunotherapy and graft manipulation. The facility includes HEPA-filtered transplant units, diagnostics and immunology support for donor matching and patient monitoring. Services include autologous, allogeneic and haploidentical transplants with integrated oncology, haematology and critical care.
