Suasth Hospital opens 100-bed COVID care facility

The facility has separate wing from rest of the hospital with its own entrance, is currently fully operational as per guidelines set by Panvel Municipal Corporation

Suasth Hospital, a multi-speciality hospital and Institute of Advanced Healthcare with 350 beds, recently became operational and has opened its doors to residents across Navi Mumbai. The 500,000 sq ft facility with multiple entrances, exits and safety features has been designed to international standards by Dr Sanjeev Kanoria, Founder, Suasth Hospital along with optimised ‘patient flow and journey’.

Given the dire need for more COVID care facilities in the region, Suasth Hospital has opened a 100-bed COVID care facility – a separate wing from the rest of the hospital with its own entrance and is currently fully operational as per guidelines set by Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC). Due care is taken in terms of regular sanitisation and fumigation of the premises, use of safety gears, PPE kits, check-ups of the staff as per requirements.

Being mindful of the sensitivity in the current situation and the difficulty faced by non-COVID patients, Suasth Hospital will also be able to serve them by having a separate entrance, wing and dedicated staff for them with full safety.

Dr Kanoria said, “We are happy and honoured to provide our services to the people of Navi Mumbai. Our objective at Suasth is to be able to make healthcare affordable and accessible to all. We are here to cater to the ever-growing needs of advanced healthcare in the region. Our experienced faculty, advanced imaging technology, affordable rates, thoughtful infrastructure and an integrated approach towards prevention, care and cure sets Suasth apart.  We are pleased to help the nation fight the corona pandemic by opening our facilities.”
