Tata 1mg launches its first reference lab in India

Tata 1mg has announced the launch of its first reference lab based in Delhi, which was inaugurated by Dr Indu Bhushan, Former CEO, Ayushman Bharat. The reference diagnostics laboratory can process upto 4000 tests an hour and joins Tata 1mg’s nationwide network of 8 diagnostic labs that serve over a million customers each year, across 30 cities.

Speaking about Tata 1mg’s continued thrust on diagnostics, Dr Bhushan said, “Timely and high quality diagnostic tests form the backbone of the decision-making process while managing the health journey of patients. It is important for private organizations like Tata 1mg to strongly participate in ensuring seamless accessibility of quality healthcare across the nation. The new reference lab in Delhi is spread across 24000 sq. feet area and is equipped to process more than 4000 tests per hour across pathology and microbiology specialisations.
