Install world’s latest excimer laser technology for refractive surgery

Tirupati Eye Institute & Research Centre was recently inaugurated in Noida. The hospital is equipped with cutting-edge technology, which will mainly cater to patients from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Bihar and Jharkhand.

The hospital was formally inaugurated by Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister, Delhi; Atul Kumar, Professor AIIMS and Dr Mohita Sharma, Medical Director, Tirupati Eye Institute & Research Centre.

On the occasion of the launch, the hospital also introduced TENEO 317 from Bausch & Lomb, the latest excimer laser technology for refractive surgery. Tirupati Eye hospital is set to provide patients the benefits of the enhanced ergonomic design and layout of the TENEO 317. The focus of the hospital is to provide a tailored solution to patients for their individual requirements, with the help of a wide range of technologies.

The hospital also announced the launch of a mass awareness campaign for diabetic retinopathy to help patients suffering from diabetes. Tirupati Eye Institute and Research Centre works closely with the World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark, in this area.

The hospital has medical expertise and staff that specialises in the treatment of cataract, LASIK, retina and cornea related complications, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, paediatric ophthalmology and oculoplasty.
