TPG acquires Nova IVI fertility for undisclosed amount

The acquisition will help to create a healthcare platform in India focussing on mother and child

Asia Healthcare Holdings founded by TPG Growth acquired Nova IVI Fertility chain of clinics for an undisclosed amount. AHHs acquisition of Nova will help create a healthcare platform in India focussing on mother and child. The platform aims to power multiple single speciality healthcare delivery companies through a single management team.

AHH will leverage its experience of growing their Motherhood network and will work alongside Nova to build operating synergies and scale the network in the region.

Nova IVI Fertility provides assisted-reproductive therapy treatments in intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and andrology services with 20 centres across 15 cities. Nova IVI Fertility was formed in 2012.

AHH’s current portfolio consists of Cancer Treatment Services International, a network of cancer hospitals, Bengaluru-based Rhea Healthcare, which operates a network of hospitals for women and children under the ‘Motherhood’ brand and Ampath, a network of pathology diagnostics labs.
