Trivitron Healthcare has launched Kiran Smart Track, an application designed for tracking radiation protection or X-ray apparel. The company states that the application is the first of its kind in India and is aimed at supporting safety, compliance and operational processes in healthcare environments.
Kiran Smart Track uses a QR code embedded on each radiation protection product to provide access to product information. The application offers details including manufacturing data, specifications, protection levels and shelf life, supporting usage and compliance requirements.

The application includes features such as quality checks, shelf-life monitoring and access to product data through QR-based scanning. It allows users to verify product authenticity, identify products through unique codes and access specifications including core material, protection levels, size, colour, and quality and safety reports.
Serial numbers are used to support warranty management and inventory tracking. The application is designed to support decision-making, compliance requirements and inventory processes across hospitals and diagnostic centres.
With this launch, Trivitron Healthcare has introduced a digital system for managing radiation protection apparel within clinical environments.
