More than 200 doctors, medical consultants, NGOs and patients participated in the workshop
Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road in association with IMA Bhayander Medical Association, Association consultants & Mira Road Medical Practitioners and Lions Club of Bhayander conducted an organ donation workshop. More than 200 doctors, medical consultants, NGO workers and patients participated in the workshop.
The workshop began with inauguration and introduction of organ donation by Dr Rajeev Agarwal, President, IMA Mira Bhayander. On the occasion, Ravi Hirwani, Centre Head, Wockhardt Hospital Mira Road said, “Our motto of conducting this workshop was to create awareness to join hands for organ donation. People should know what the importance of organ donation is. By donating, you can save someone’s life. We like to thank the doctors who decided to donate their organ and spread awareness among common people.”
Several case studies and documentary films were shown and discussed to make the event more interactive. A total of 150 doctors took oath for donating their organs during this workshop.
